Rebekah Smith patterns and kits

 

Several weeks ago, we shared news of the passing of Rebekah Smith.  We'd hoped her daughter would continue her mom's pattern business, but Kelsey has decided to step back and explore other interests.  Consequently, all Rebekah's patterns are now out of print.  This week we are featuring the patterns and kits we have available.  Since we have limited supplies, please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve.  The Sewing Book - pattern - $10 The Sewing Book - kit - $39.95 (includes the pattern, cottons, wool, adhesive boards to make the sewing book in the forefront)

We have 3 kits left:  1 red stool, 2 mustard stools.

Cute table runner for July 4th

It's hard to believe Memorial Day has passed and July 4 is upon us.  With the holiday right around the corner, we wanted to be sure to share our newest patriotic themed kit.  Americana is super quick and easy to make because it's a panel bordered with sashing.  Your $15.95 kit includes the instructions, panel, border and binding.  It finishes 26" x 46" so is a great size for a table.  Wouldn't it be pretty displayed on a front porch during the season? Panels are a great way to practice big stitch quilting.  We recommend using Valdani perle cotton size 12 for quilting.  If you'd like us to include a ball with your order, please specify what color(s) you'd like.

Gail Pan books

 

We are writing this on a very dreary rainy day.  We don't let the lack of sunshine damper our mood though.....we just look at it as an opportunity to stay inside and sew or stitch.  One of our friends sent a photo of the sweetest little robin babies.  It looks as thought mama robin gathered up a variety of "stuff" to make a comfortable home for her little ones.

This week we are featuring books by one of our favorite stitchery designers, Gail Pan.  Gail lives in Australia and designs projects that are quick and easy.  They're great take along on vacation and to appointment type projects.  Her newest book, Tabletop Stitchery contains 12 projects.  Pictured below are three of the projects Debby stitched.  We didn't make kits but would be happy to put kits together for you.  Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com for more info.  The book is 48 pages, $19.99

More details about Say it with Flowers by Lynette Anderson

 

We've been waiting for the next Lynette Anderson button club for several years.  We were very excited when she e-mailed a few months ago to let us know about her new program, Say it with Flowers.  Several of you have already signed up but we want to let you (and everyone) know more details about the program.   Each month for 4 months you'll receive the pattern, a hand painted button and fabric for the monthly installment. During the 4th month, you'll receive binding for the quilt in addition to your monthly shipment.
