We were very excited to receive a new tin....we love any kind of box or tin or storage item. When Kay saw our newest tin she knew exactly what she wanted to do with it. She designed a cute little needlebook to go inside the tin. Your $6.95 kit includes the tin, pattern, Primitive Gatherings flannel, wool for applique, cotton batting for the needle page and scissors magnet. The tin measures 4" x 3" x 3.75".
Add in a cute pair of scissors and you have a unique Christmas gift. We chose our new Little Love scissors for our sewing box. We also received the new Silver Tudor Scissors which would be cute. The Winter issue of Primitive Quilts & Projects magazine arrived. It is hard to believe it is the 10th anniversary issue. This issue features Kay's quilt "Twice as Nice". She made two versions of the same pattern. We can't decide which colorway we like better. If you are local, the quilts are back in the shop.

We have been playing around with the idea of a Diamond Textile bundle of the month program and finally decided 2022 is the year it will happen. The program will begin in January and run through December. Each month we will offer a bundle of 8 fat quarters for $24. Some may be discontinued and one of a kind pieces.

This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section we are featuring a Quiltmania book by Diedre Bond-Abel, "Hat Creek Quilts". As with all Quiltmania publications, the book is beautifully photographed and illustrated. The book contains 16 quilt projects, wall hangings and accessories. 192 pages - $42.95
This week we want to begin by sharing a couple of projects that we have been able to rekit. The first is our Simply 20 pattern. As the name implies, the quilt is made with an assortment of 20 fat quarters. We chose a variety of Diamond Textiles to create a quilt that will be great as the focal point in a room or as a neutral decorating piece. Your $78.95 kit includes the pattern, fabrics for the top and binding. Please note some of the fabrics we used in the sample are no longer available but we have substituted fabrics that are similar.
The quilt finishes 64" x 80"; however, it is super easy to make it larger by adding more fat quarters. Let us know if we can help you if you'd like a larger quilt.

Snowy Nights by Red Button Company is another fun piece we have been able to rekit. Your $24.95 kit includes the pattern, fabrics, wool, buttons and backing fabric to make both small quilts.
As you can see, the "Snowy Nights" quilt has 4 snowman buttons which are included; the snowmen in the "All is Calm" quilt are wool. Both finish 5 1/2" x 10 1/2".
We can think of several uses for the Heart of Christmas stitched heart. It would make a pretty ornament for your tree, a beautiful little gift for someone special or a pretty package decoration. Your $12.95 kit includes the pattern, background applique fabric, backing fabric and a red star button. The pattern contains patterns for two additional stitcheries.

Each year since we opened our doors we have offered a $10 block of the month. Based on feedback we have decided to suspend our $10 program until 2023. We know many of you are finishing up prior year blocks of the month so we thought that rather than overwhelm with more unfinished projects we would take a little break. We are already planning for the 2023 - $10 block of the month program.
