Chicken Run Tea Towel

This week we want to share a really cute tea towel Debby created.  It features the Spring Chicken line by Sweetwater.  The towel is not as bright as the photo below shows....it's more of a muted yellow/greenish.  Your $13.95 kit includes the pattern, tea towel, large rick rack and a mini charm of the Spring Chicken line of fabric.   We heard several people comment how much they enjoyed Dawn Heese's visit to the Calico Cutups Guild in Bella Vista.  We have some 3 1/2" square packages of her line with Diamond Textiles, A Common Thread.  Each package contains 21 - 3 1/2" squares.  $3.95 each We also have openings in our Row of the Month program, Manor House designed by Dawn.  The program runs for 5 months. During the first four months you'll receive background fabric and wool to make a row. You'll receive border and binding fabrics the 5th month. Kay came home from Overland Park full of inspiration and talk of how wonderful it was to be among quilters with a common interest.  Great vendors -- great quilts -- great time.  She said many of you stopped by the booth.  We posted pics on social media but in case you missed them (or don't connect on social media), we want to share a few photos.  If you spot something you'd like more info about, send an email to info@sewgracefulquilting.com. We are super happy to report our shipment of patterns from Europe arrived.  We placed the order April 9 and paid extra for expedited shipping.......the extra fee got our package a spot on a ship rather than on a plane as we expected.  Anyway, the package arrived June 18. Join us in Kansas City

We have a lot to share so are going to jump right in.  First, we want to share news of a road closure that will make getting to our shop a little inconvenient.  Starting June 1st, the intersection of N. Arkansas St. and W. Walnut St will be closed as part of planned improvements.  The closure is scheduled to last approximately 3 months, depending on the weather.  Detour signs are in place.  For more info visit News Flash • Rogers, AR • CivicEngage (rogersar.gov).   As promised in our newsletter last week, we want to give an update on our block of the month openings.  Kay will be taking quilts to the show in Kansas City.  At shows we usually see quite a few block of the months sign ups so wanted to be sure to give you an update in case you've been considering one (or more). Manor House - this is actually a "Row of the Month" program - you'll receive fabric and wool to make one row a month.  Finishes 60" x 75". 5 months - Month 1 is $32.95 plus pattern for $24 - Months 2-5 $32.95  A Prairie Journey - 12 quilts in 12 months.  Month 1 - $25.99 for the book and $19.95 for the quilt kit. Just a quick update
