The Project Pouch is a very functional small pouch containing 7 pockets - five of these have see-through plastic for viewing and quick retrieval of your craft supplies. This week for our Sample Sale, we are featuring a darling lap throw. When Kay brought the quilt in to put in the sample sale pile, we almost bought it ourselves. This week we are continuing with gift giving ideas. When we saw the Bobbin Tower we knew it would be a great way to store not only bobbins used for sewing machine thread but also Valdani bobbins. The tower holds any type of bobbin and secures threads. It neatly organizes up to 30 bobbins. Each of the 6 sections hold 5 bobbins which allows you to conveniently see all your thread colors at a glance. $18.50

Another great organizing tool is the Mini Stash ‘n Store organizer. It's the perfect organizer for even the tightest and smallest of spaces. Multiple pockets and a center divider allow you to easily stow away sewing notions, marking tools and even small scissors and rulers. Our philosophy is we can't have too many pairs of scissors. Our all-time favorite scissors are the Karen K Buckley brand. Karen makes two types of scissors. One has a serrated blade. This special blade pulls the fabric into the scissors rather than pushing it always like traditional scissors. Things you will like about these scissors...cushioned handle, easy for right or left hander to use, blades sharp to the very tip, serrated blade keeps fabric from fraying, light weight and comfortable. Includes a plastic sheath which clips tightly to protect scissors. Great for both left and right hand cutting.
Karen also makes straight blade scissors. They are great for cutting templates (freezer paper, Templar), fabric and fabric with fusible stabilizers. The blades are stainless steel. The handles have the same soft, ergonomic grip as the other Perfect Scissors. They cut sharp to the point and come with a plastic protective cover. Great for both right and left hand cutting.

Hopefully your Thanksgiving holiday was as nice as ours. We tried to limit our food intake but it's hard when everyone brings their favorite dish.....don't you know it would be rude to not sample a little of everything?!
Before we share more fun gift ideas, we want to share news that we have rekitted our Woodland Santa wall hanging. A few fabrics and wools will vary from the sample but will be close matches. Of course, we changed the pattern, but your kit will include the changes. Your $38.95 kit includes the pattern, fabrics for the top, wool for applique and binding. Finishes 15 1/2" x 45".
We're continuing to offer gift giving ideas. A gift certificate is always a nice gift, especially for someone you may not often see....in other words.....for someone who probably has everything and you don't want to risk duplicating a purchase.
