We are back from spring break

 

We are back from a very relaxing spring break.  We visited the AQS show in Branson and feel very inspired and energized.  The quilts were beautiful, and it was very enjoyable to be a spectator rather than a vendor.  Don't get us wrong.....we enjoy vending but it's always great fun to just wander around a show.   While we were gone, Kay did a bit of reorganizing our classroom.  Nothing major but it's amazing how moving a couple pieces of furniture can make a space more inviting.  During the cleaning/restocking process, she discovered one of her pieces has gone missing.  If by some chance, you accidentally picked it up with your supplies please return it.  It's especially sad as it was a piece featured in Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine.  The missing sample is pictured below.   Since this isn't the first sample that has gone missing, we took the opportunity during our break to install security cameras.  We also are in the process of tying our samples down.

Sue offered Of a Feather as a block of the month several years ago.  Kay participated in the program.  Here are a couple of her blocks for you to drool over.   These are obviously very colorful; however, they could be made using a primitive color palette as well as made entirely of cotton.
