Bunny Hill charm packs and inspiration

Kay had a great time at the quilt show in Benton hosted by the Hot Springs Village Quilt Guild.  Below are some photos of the booth.  We'd splurged and rented a double booth, so she had plenty of room for displaying everything.  If you spy something you'd like more info about, please e-mail us at info@sewgracefulquilting.com.
We realize it is a bit early to think about spring, but we were very excited to receive our shipment of charm squares from Bunny Hill's new line of fabric, The Flower Farm.  Each charm pack contains 42 - 5" squares of fabric.  $11.95

If you're looking for inspiration for a project using your new charm pack, "The Perfect 5" book by It’s Sew Emma will help.  It contains 16 quilts made with classic 5" charm squares. The book contains options using 1, 2, 3, and 4 charm packs.  60 pages, spiral-bound $14.95

We enjoy sharing news of upcoming shows whether or not we are vending.  If you're in the Fort Smith area, you may want to make plans to attend the Belle Point Quilters Guild show Friday (Sep 30) and Saturday (Oct 1).   The show will be held at the Fort Smith Convention Center, 55 South 7th St.  Show hours are 9-5 Friday and 9-3 Saturday.

Unfortunately, we won't be attending the show.  Kay returned from the Benton show late Saturday.  Turning around and setting up for another show on back-to-back weekends would be too much.  We want to keep her happy and healthy so she can help us for many years.
This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section are featuring our last kit for Pinwheel Garden.  Your $24.95 kit includes the pattern, fabric to make the top, buttons and binding.  Most of the fabrics are from French General by Moda.  Finishes 11" x 13".

Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve.
This week for our Sample Sale we are selling Paisley Runner designed by Kansas Troubles.  The runner features fabrics from Kansas Troubles.  It features raw edge applique.  18" x 43"  $45 plus shipping

We'll be back next week with more to inspire you.  See you soon!

Mother of Pearl Thread Winders

Happy first day of fall.  By the time most of you open this newsletter, Kay will be on her way to Benton AR to set up for the Hot Springs Village Quilt show.  The show will be held at the Benton Event Center located in the Hickory Square Shopping Center, 17333 I30 North.  The show will be open 10-4 Friday & Sat (Sep 23 & 24).  For more info, please visit https://www.arvillagequiltshow.com/

Bo is back.  Bo the snowman was a such a popular piece that we decided to bring him back this year.  We have many new subscribers who haven't seen him.  Your $24.95 kit includes the pattern, background cotton, wool for applique, crochet edging, binding, buttons and rusty snowflake button (the center of the poinsettia).  He finishes 13 1/2" x 16"

The snowflake hanger is available separately for $12.75.

Just in time for Halloween is "If the Shoe Fits".  It would be a cute addition to your Halloween decor as you are greeting the little trick-or-treaters.  Your $26.95 kit includes the pattern, fabrics for the top including a mini charm pack of Hocus Pocus fabric from Moda, buttons, borders, binding and backing fabric.
Have you started thinking about holiday gifts?  Our mother of pearl thread winders are a unique, practical and inexpensive way to let your favorite quilting or stitching buddy know you're thinking of them.  Unfortunately, mother of pearl has increased in price to the point that the designer no longer offers them for sale.  Once we sell our stock, we won't be able to get more.

Each winder is unique -- some have a brighter sheen as those pictured below while others have gradations of taupe colors.

Crow winders come 3 to a pack for $9.50.  2.25" wide x .85" high
Rabbit thread winders come 2 to a pack for $9.50. 2.25" wide x .75" high
This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section are featuring 52 - 4 1/2" blocks.  We were planning a project using these blocks but decided to go another route.  We've done most of the work -- all you need to do is decide how to sew blocks together and you'll soon have a small quilt (or a larger one if you decide to add setting squares).  Pictured below is a sampling of the blocks.  Each block contains homespun fabric for the center.  $16.95

Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve.
We forgot to snap a photo of an item for sale so will leave you with a photo of some of our hand dyed wool.  We hope to be back in the dye kitchen as soon as the weather cools a bit.  We'll keep you posted.
See you soon!
