We have a lot to share this week so will jump right in with both feet. First, we need to make a correction to the price of a quilt kit we shared last week. The correct price for The Ark kit should be $120, not $152. Kits include the pattern, background cotton, wool, borders, binding and a button pack. The quilt finishes 34" x 41".

Next up is a cute winter themed project designed by Bonnie Sullivan using her preprinted fabric technique. The winter issue of Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher is always a favorite. This issue contains 31 projects. We are super excited about our 2021 $10 block of the month. Each year since we opened over 10 years ago we've offered a $10 block of the month. It's an affordable way to allow everyone a chance to get a surprise each month.
For 2021, we chose "Birdsong" which a pattern by one of our favorite primitive designers, Heart to Hand. We have made some changes to the pattern and your kits will include our changes. The background fabrics are cotton and all the applique is wool. The quilt finishes 35" x 35".
The Birdsong block of the month will begin in January and run through September (9 months). Each month you'll receive fabric and wool to make one block; during the final month you'll receive borders and binding. The cost for the first month will be $10 for the block and $18 for the pattern (plus shipping if you're not local). Subsequent months are $10 plus shipping.
As in the past, we will be offering a thread kit containing the Valdani perle cotton size 12 threads we used to stitch the sample. If you sign up for the thread kit, you'll receive the balls or bobbins of thread needed each month. We used the following threads: PT2, 1, 4, 122, 191, 200, O154, O178, O196, O548, JP2, JP11, JP12, H207.
Optional items: Thread kit - Month 1 ($30.25), Month 2 ($6.45), Month 3 ($2), Month 4 ($1), Month 6 ($1). If a month isn't listed there were no new threads. Her "Sweet and Simple" book includes patterns to make the entire 76" x 90" quilt. If you don't want to make the entire quilt, each pattern would make a darling wall hanging or pillow. You could also combine several to make table runners or strip quilts. The book is spiral bound, 85 pages. $34
We have had Primitive Gatherings' Redwork Gatherings fabric line for a couple of weeks and finally found time to cut some bundles of this beautiful fabric by Moda. We are offering fat quarter and 1/2 yard bundles of 25 fabrics. Fat quarter bundles are $68.75 and 1/2 yard bundles are $125.

In keeping with our redwork theme, we'd like to share Debby's newest project. Your $19.95 "Santa Quartet" includes the pattern (with our changes), fabric for the top and rick rack. Our piece finished 8 1/2" x 18 1/2". We mounted ours on a burlap covered frame which we found at a local craft store.
