We have a great new stitching resource for you

We had a great time visiting with everyone who stopped by the shop last week.  Many were in the area for the annual craft fairs and made a stop at Sew Graceful.  Thank you!  We are so happy we rated a stop during your visit to the area.

By the time you read this, Kay will be packed and on her way to Claremore OK for the Country Fare Quilters Guild show.  The guild is celebrating 40 years.  Can you imagine how many quilts have been made during that 40 years!  For details about the show, please visit https://www.countryfarequiltersguild.org/quilt-show/.

Our shipment of Quiltmania magazines arrived.  If you're on auto ship, Debby has processed your order.  If you haven't received your magazine, please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com.  It's very likely your credit card couldn't be processed.  We'd hate you to miss an issue of this great magazine.

Issue 151 contains instructions for 6 projects as well as the usual articles highlighting a talented designer, exhibitions from around the world and the "Quilts Home Tour" column.  $16.99
We'll be honest.......we ordered the next book by accident; however, when Kay flipped through the pages she commented "I must have this book.  It is the most comprehensive book detailing embroidery stitches I've seen in a long time."

Christen Brown's "Hand Embroidery Dictionary" breaks down more than 500 stitches from the basics for beginners to more complex designs for advanced stitchers. Stitches range from Lazy Daisy, French Knot, Herringbone, Capped, Chevron, and so much more.  Each stitch comes with step-by-step instructions.

Christen also explains how to change the position of the stitch and use the distance between points to create stunning embroidery.  She also includes tips and instructions for left-handed embroiderers.

Pre-order your copy by visiting our website https://www.sewgracefulquilting.com/ or e-mailing info@sewgracefulquilting.com.  160 pages $29.95
Here's an example of stitch diagrams.  Notice they are diagrammed for both left and right-handed stitchers.
The brisk temps we've endured the past few days remind us that the holiday season is right around the corner.  We often struggle trying to decide the perfect gift for the friend or family member who has everything.  A hand embroidered tea towel is an inexpensive and quick to make gift.

Your $14.95 kit for Sweet as Pie includes the pattern and tea towel.  We have included a close-up photo so you can see just how darling it is.
This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section are featuring our last couple kits for The Santa, The Tree, The Turkey and Me by Hatched and Patched.  Kits include the pattern, Diamond Textile fabrics for the backgrounds, wool for applique, border, binding and the Valdani thread (size 12) needed to complete the project.  The quilt finishes 36" x 42".  $227.95

Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve.
This week for our Sample Sale we are selling a cute little wallhanging or table mat.  The background is flannel and wool is applique.  7" x 7"  $22 plus shipping
