Closing out Blocks of the Month
We hope your Thanksgiving was as enjoyable as ours. It goes without saying that we sampled too much food, but the extra few pounds were sure worth it. We'll do the same thing in just a few weeks with the Christmas holiday.
This week we are excited to offer some of our previous blocks of the month at a discount. When we opened more than 10 years ago, blocks of the month were an affordable way for everyone to enjoy a monthly treat. Unfortunately, shipping costs have risen to the point where we have discontinued our block of the month program. So, we have packed some of our previous programs into kits and are offering them at a great price.
Our version of Heart to Hand's "Birdsong" quilt makes us smile every time we look at it. It features wool applique on cotton backgrounds. We've included our changes to the pattern. Quilt finishes 35" x 35". Regular price $108 -- now $75.

Manor House by Dawn Heese also features wool applique on cotton. The cotton background is one of Moda's popular prints from the Grunge line. We chose a homespun from Diamond Textile for the pieced inner border. Kit includes the pattern, background cotton, wool (some hand dyed) and binding. Finishes 60" x 75".

This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section are featuring "Angels Among Us". It is a panel designed by Buggy Barn. As you can see by the close-up photo, it is nicely printed. Once it's quilted, it'll be difficult to tell that it isn't actually appliqued. Panel measures 40" x 36". We have two available. $7 each
For several years we carried Marcus Fabric Aged Muslin. We liked the distressed look of the fabric; however, the coloring between dye lots became very inconsistent so we stopped ordering it. We are closing out our final bit of the fabric. As you can see by the photo below, the fabric is quite distressed with color variations throughout. Please note that it is a tightly woven fabric. Remaining stock is $6.50 per yard (5 or more yards is $6 per yard).
