Sue offered Of a Feather as a block of the month several years ago.  Kay participated in the program.  Here are a couple of her blocks for you to drool over.   These are obviously very colorful; however, they could be made using a primitive color palette as well as made entirely of cotton.

We enjoy quilts with houses and know many of you also enjoy them.  Sue's Homegrown book is filled with houses with incredible details.  Again, this would be a sweet quilt done with a primitive pallette.  If you don't feel the urge to make the entire quilt, each block is self contained so could be used for other projects including pin cushions, pillows and wall hangings.   The book also includes a pattern for a pincushion and a zip bag.  Soft cover, beautifully photographed, 8 1/2" x 11", 169 pages.  $32. This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section are featuring a pattern for a sweet spring pillow or wall hanging, Nest designed by Primitive Gatherings.  The sentiment "Do no great things.....only small things with great love" is so heartwarming.  We are out of kits but have the pattern available for $9.  If you'd like us to put together a kit, let us know and we will work on that.  Wools will vary from those pictured, but it'll be pretty.   Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve.

This week for our Sample Sale, we are featuring two samples since we won't be writing a newsletter next week.  The first, Grace at Home, features blanket stitched cotton applique along with a sweet sitty and ladybug button.  It measures 9" x 35".  $45 plus shipping Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve.
