More holiday gift ideas

 

We will be closed Dec 18 - Jan 4 for the Christmas holidays. This week we are continuing with gift giving ideas.  When we saw the Bobbin Tower we knew it would be a great way to store not only bobbins used for sewing machine thread but also Valdani bobbins.  The tower holds any type of bobbin and secures threads.  It neatly organizes up to 30 bobbins. Each of the 6 sections hold 5 bobbins which allows you to conveniently see all your thread colors at a glance.  $18.50 Bobbins are not included.

Another great organizing tool is the Mini Stash ‘n Store organizer.  It's the perfect organizer for even the tightest and smallest of spaces. Multiple pockets and a center divider allow you to easily stow away sewing notions, marking tools and even small scissors and rulers. Our philosophy is we can't have too many pairs of scissors.  Our all-time favorite scissors are the Karen K Buckley brand.  Karen makes two types of scissors.  One has a serrated blade.  This special blade pulls the fabric into the scissors rather than pushing it always like traditional scissors. Karen also makes straight blade scissors. They are great for cutting templates (freezer paper, Templar), fabric and fabric with fusible stabilizers. The blades are stainless steel. The handles have the same soft, ergonomic grip as the other Perfect Scissors. They cut sharp to the point and come with a plastic protective cover. Great for both right and left hand cutting.
