New Buttermilk Basin project

Welcome to all our new subscribers.  We're so happy you invited us to share our love of quilting and needlework with you each Thursday.  We try to keep our weekly updates short and to the point......more importantly, we hope we inspire you to pick up a current project or start a new one.

We have a lot to share this week, so will get right into it.

Our first project, Live Each Season, is from Buttermilk Basin's book "Seasons at Buttermilk Basin".  We debated about how to offer this project and decided we would go all out and include the book with the kit.  Your $58.95 kit includes the book (more about it later), background fabrics, wool for applique, buttons, binding and backing fabric.  It finishes 12" x 12".
Who can resist that adorable face?!
The "Seasons at Buttermilk Basin" book is 248 pages of beautifully photographed projects designed by Stacy West.  It contains 5 spring, 6 summer, 12 autumn and 9 winter projects.  Below are a few of our absolute favorites.
Our next project is actually a restocked item.  We were able to get a few more tins so put together some darling sewing kits.  These would make a great gift for a special stitching pal.  Your $6.95 "Pretty Posies" kit includes the pattern, metal box designed by the Moda Ruby Star team, flannel, wool, batting and magnet (to hold the scissors in place).  Tin measures 4" x 3" x 3.75"
If you'd would like the box only, we have one available for $4.50.

The scissors are not included.  We have a few pairs of these pretty scissors featuring roses entwined on the handles for $14.95.
Several weeks ago, we shared photos of Kay's newest project featured in the fall issue of Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine.  Since we have so many new readers, we felt it would be nice to share again.

Kay designed Autumn Delight to fit inside a scalloped metal tray.  The tray measures 4" x 8" on the bottom; 5" x 9" along the top; 2" high.

Your $24.95 kit includes the tray, background wool, wool for applique, beads and cotton backing fabric. It finishes 4" x 8".  The pattern is not included. It is included in the fall issue of Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine which must be purchased separately. The magazine is $9.99.

She designed seasonal companion pieces: Garden Party ($14.95), Sheep in the Meadow ($15.95) and Snowy Night ($14.95).  They are pictured below.  Kits for these additional seasonal pieces do not include the tray.

You may order any by visiting https://www.sewgracefulquilting.com/

When we initially debuted these projects, several asked about purchasing additional trays.  At the time, we didn't think we could get additional trays.  However, we are now able to order more so are offering the tray by itself.  $12.95
This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section are featuring our last few kits for Crows in the Pumpkin Patch.  Your $84.95 kit includes the pattern, fabric to make the quilt top and binding.  Quilt finishes 45" x 51"

Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve.

We may make more kits of this project in the future; however, fabrics will vary and cost will be more as fabric prices have increased substantially since we offered this kit.
This week for our Sample Sale we are selling Pumpkin Postcards.   It features vintage postcards which have been printed on fabric and sewn together to create a cute wall hanging.  Finishes 13" x 17".   $45 plus shipping

Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve.
Our next vending opportunity is Sep 2 - 3 in Pittsburg KS.  The show is hosted by the Little Balkans Quilt Guild.  It will be held at Memorial Auditorium, 503 N Pine in Pittsburg.  Show hours are 9-5 on Sep 2 and 9-4 on Sep 3.  For more info visit https://littlebalkansfestival.com/events-2/quilt-show/

Kay will be packing soon so please e-mail your shopping requests NLT Aug 30 (info@sewgracefulquilting.com).

See you soon!
