Buttermilk Basin Boo kit

In our newsletter last week, we mentioned sharing some fall themed projects in future newsletters.  We are starting with "Boo" designed by Stacy of Buttermilk Basin.  Your $24.95 kit includes the pattern, background toweling fabric and wool.  We have ours displayed on an Ackfeld hanger, but it would also be cute displayed as a tea towel.

When opened "Boo" measures 16 1/2" x 29 1/2".
"Harvest Blessings" by Norma Whaley is one of our favorite fall wall hangings.  It is a combination of simple piecing and wool applique.  Your $68.95 kit includes the pattern, wool for applique, an assortment of shirting type cream fabrics, homespun fabric for baskets and borders, inner border and binding.  Finishes 38" x 38".
With ever increasing prices, it became necessary for us to consider raising fabric prices.  It's not an easy decision but one we feel we must make in order to continue in business.  Beginning August 1, all regular cotton fabric will be $11.95 per yard (flannel, linen and sandcastle prices will be more expensive).

To soften the inceased price blow, we are having an in-store sale beginning July 7 and running through July 30.
Flat fold fabrics - $8 per yard if you purchase the entire piece of fabric
All sale fabric - $5 a yard, 1 yard minimum
Precuts - 15% off (mini-charms, charms, layer cakes, jelly rolls)
Selected fabrics - $8 per yard, 1 yard minimum
Regular priced fabrics - finish the bolt and receive 15% off
Kay is super excited to be heading north to Joplin on July 19 to present a wool trunk show to the members of the Joplin Town and Country Quilters.  The meeting starts at 1:00.  The best part is that you're invited to attend even if you're not a member of the guild.  No reservation is required.  The meeting will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 3100 N St Louis Street in Joplin.  For more info and a map, please visit http://www.townandcountryquilters.com/

In addition to the trunk show, Kay will be bringing goodies from the shop to sell.  If you've attended any of Kay's programs, you know she brings a LOT to tempt you.  If you have any specific item you'd like her to bring, please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com NLT July 17 with your wish list.
