New sewing tins

As a reminder, we will be closed Thursday, Nov 25 and Saturday, Nov 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.  Since we won't send a newsletter next week, we are going to pack a lot of info into this week's newsletter.

We were very excited to receive a new tin....we love any kind of box or tin or storage item.  When Kay saw our newest tin she knew exactly what she wanted to do with it.  She designed a cute little needlebook to go inside the tin.  Your $6.95 kit includes the tin, pattern, Primitive Gatherings flannel, wool for applique, cotton batting for the needle page and scissors magnet.  The tin measures 4" x 3" x 3.75".

Add in a cute pair of scissors and you have a unique Christmas gift.  We chose our new Little Love scissors for our sewing box.  We also received the new Silver Tudor Scissors which would be cute.  Of course, a person can't go wrong with the Primitive Sheep scissors.  Scissors are sold separately $14.95 per pair.

If you'd prefer just the tin, we have it available for $4.50.
The white Little Love scissors are 2.5"; the Silver Tudor scissors are 3.75"; the Primitive Sheep scissors are 3.75" -- $14.95 each.
The Winter issue of Primitive Quilts & Projects magazine arrived.  It is hard to believe it is the 10th anniversary issue.  This issue features Kay's quilt "Twice as Nice".  She made two versions of the same pattern.  We can't decide which colorway we like better.  If you are local, the quilts are back in the shop.

Your $79.95 Twice as Nice kit includes fabrics for the quilt top and the binding. Fabrics are from Primitive Gatherings. Finishes 54" x 54".  The pattern is not included and is available in the Winter issue of Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine. $9.99

We have been playing around with the idea of a Diamond Textile bundle of the month program and finally decided 2022 is the year it will happen.  The program will begin in January and run through December.  Each month we will offer a bundle of 8 fat quarters for $24.  Some may be discontinued and one of a kind pieces.

If you want to be sure you will get every bundle, you are invited to join our program.  To join, please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com.  There is no sign up or registration fee.  We will put you on our automatic ship (or pick up) list and reserve a bundle for you.  If you'd prefer to pick and choose, we will offer the remaining unsold bundles first come, first served.

Below is a sampling of Diamond Textile fabrics that could end up in your bundle.
We have a few kits for "Harvest Blessings" left.  Your $18.95 kit includes the pattern with Sew Graceful changes, background fabrics, stitchery stabilizer, border fabrics, wool for applique, and binding.

Finishes 14" x 14"

This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section we are featuring a Quiltmania book by Diedre Bond-Abel, "Hat Creek Quilts".  As with all Quiltmania publications, the book is beautifully photographed and illustrated.  The book contains 16 quilt projects, wall hangings and accessories.
192 pages - $42.95

We have only 2 copies available.  Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to place your order.

See you soon.
