We have a lot to share so are going to jump right in.  First, we want to share news of a road closure that will make getting to our shop a little inconvenient.  Starting June 1st, the intersection of N. Arkansas St. and W. Walnut St will be closed as part of planned improvements.  The closure is scheduled to last approximately 3 months, depending on the weather.  Detour signs are in place.  For more info visit News Flash • Rogers, AR • CivicEngage (rogersar.gov).   As promised in our newsletter last week, we want to give an update on our block of the month openings.  Kay will be taking quilts to the show in Kansas City.  At shows we usually see quite a few block of the months sign ups so wanted to be sure to give you an update in case you've been considering one (or more). Manor House - this is actually a "Row of the Month" program - you'll receive fabric and wool to make one row a month.  Finishes 60" x 75". 5 months - Month 1 is $32.95 plus pattern for $24 - Months 2-5 $32.95  A Prairie Journey - 12 quilts in 12 months.  Month 1 - $25.99 for the book and $19.95 for the quilt kit. Months 2-12 - $19.95 for the quilt kit.  The quilts vary in size with the smallest being 12 1/2" square and the largest 30" square.   The Santa, The Tree, The Turkey and Me - an 8 month program - finishes 36 1/2" x 41 1/2" - $24.95 per month Birdsong - 9 month program - Month 1 $28 ($10 for the block and $18 for the pattern). Months 2-9 are $10 per month - finishes 35" x 35". Even though we aren't officially into summer, we are already thinking about fall stitching.  Our newest kit, Antique Pumpkins, is the perfect way to get in the fall mood.  Your $45.95 kit includes the book, background cotton, wool for applique and binding.  The runner finishes 12" x 42".   We are including some close up photos of this beauty as well as a photo of the book which will be included in your kit.   If we were to ask for a show of hands of those who are like us and love to collect scissors we are betting many hands across the US would raise.  We received our shipment of new scissors and are so pleased with the detail.   Your $13.75 pair of cat snips is 3.75" and is finished in a primitive black color.  If you look closely you'll see the kitty tail forms the finger hole.  How ingenious is that!
