Are you ready for a quilt show road trip?

We've been gearing up for our first vending event in over a year.  Kay will be hitting the road and heading east to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for the Mountain Quiltfest which will be held May 5-8.  For details visit https://www.mypigeonforge.com/event/quiltfest.  We realize traveling to and fro isn't possible in a day but wouldn't it be fun to get a group together and have a road trip?  If you plan to visit the show and want us to pack any specific item(s), please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com by April 28.   If you're planning a road trip, it's likely you will need something to stitch on to pass the time.  "Sew" is a sweet little project that won't require a lot of concentration.  Your $14.95 kit includes the pattern, fabrics for the top, wool for applique, backing fabric and binding.  It finishes 5" x 7" - hanger is not included in the kit. The designer has sold her business and we are no longer able to get patterns for this piece so once they're gone, they're gone.   We finished the next project as a pillow but it would be equally cute finished as a wall hanging.  Your $24.95 "Joy" kit includes the background fabric (we chose a beautiful Diamond Textile as the background), wool for applique, binding, and backing fabric.  We've also included instructions for making the binding which looks like cording but is actually very simple to make.  Finishes 14" x 19". Kathy Cardiff's newest book "A Time for Gathering" features a stunning autumn quilt.  It is a feast for the senses: the rich color palette, the warm textures, and the lovely motifs.  The book contains full-size patterns which make appliqué prep easy and simple embroidery gives even more depth to the design.  40 pages - $21.99 This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section, we are featuring a kit from another designer who has retired from the business.  The pattern is stamped on Sandcastle fabric.  Your $18 kit includes the pre-stamped fabric, pattern, needle and thread.
