We have enjoyed visiting with many of you as you're out and about enjoying these beautiful fall days. Although we have changed our hours and are open only Thursday and Saturday, we are always happy to accommodate visitors on other days. If you or your quilting group plan to be in the area, please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com and we will be happy to work with you to open on alternate days.
To kick off this weeks' newsletter we want to share a design by one of our favorite small quilt designers, Red Button Quilt Company. Your $24.95 Snowy Nights kit includes the pattern, fabrics, wool, buttons and backing fabric to make both small quilts. As you can see, the "Snowy Nights" quilt has 4 snowman buttons which are included; the snowmen on the "All is Calm" quilt are wool. Both finish 5 1/2" x 10 1/2".
If you'd prefer to use your own materials, we have the pattern and button pack available for $12.95.
Both the heart and clothes hanger are available for $3.95 each. Let us know if you'd like us to include a hanger when you place your order.
We are super excited about Kay's quilt in the upcoming issue of Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine. It's a combination of easy piecing and wool applique. We are taking preorders now and hope to have kits ready to ship by Oct 26.
Cabin in the Cabins finishes 42 1/2" x 42 1/2". Your $64.95 kit includes the fabrics for the top, binding and wool for applique. The pattern is not included in the kit but is available in the winter issue of Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine for $9.99.
We found a few more Salem Witch Quilt kits and since Halloween is just around the corner wanted to feature them. Your $19.95 kit includes the preprinted panel, borders and binding. We normally aren't a big fan of preprinted panels but this one is very nice. The colors are deep and the printing is sharp. We've included some closeup photos.

This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section, we are featuring a cute embroidery piece designed by Jo Ann Mullaly. When we think of primitive Jo Ann definitely comes to mind. Unfortunately, she left the designing world several years ago so her patterns are out of print. We love the whimsical rhyme along the border "Trick or treat....smell my feet....give me something good to eat".
Your $19.95 kit includes the out of print pattern, sandcastle fabric for stitchery (the color is actually a nice toasty color), borders, binding, and flannel for backing.
