September tea towel is ready
We
sure have enjoyed the cooler temps and lower humidity the past few
weeks. It looks like summer is coming back quickly but we know more
cool temps are on the horizon.
If you've been stitching
Debby's tea towels of the month you are getting quite a nice assortment
by now. The towel for September highlights one of our favorite fruits
-- apples. Your $11.95 "Sweet as Pie" kit includes the pattern and tea
towel. We will be happy to put together a thread kit containing the
same Valdani perle cotton size 12 we used. Just let us know if you'd
like a thread kit when you place your order.
When we saw the pattern for "Grateful" we knew it was one we had to
make. It's probably no big surprise to many of you that we modified the
pattern.....our modifications coupled with the use of Jo Morton fabrics
worked to make a darling wall hanging. Your $18.95 kit includes the
pattern with our changes, wool for applique, fabrics for the top and
binding.
If you'd like us to put together a Valdani perle cotton size 12 thread kit, please let us know.
Peter Pumpkin patterns are back in stock. Once you make one of these
little guys we are sure you'll want to make more. Kay made our
assortment and said the pattern is well written and easy to follow,
Ours are displayed on a cupcake holder (please excuse the leaning center
pole -- our holder has had quite a bit of abuse).
Patterns

Our shipment of Kim Diehl's new book, Simple Sampler is scheduled to
arrive next week. We have noticed a delay in shipping for many items so
are hopeful the shipping date is correct.

instructions for the absolutely gorgeous cover quilt as well as 5

It wasn't a surprise that the 42nd Ozark Quilt Fair held at the Shiloh
Museum in Springdale AR was cancelled. It's always fun to visit the show
under the shade trees on the museum grounds. The organizers have
decided to host a virtual quilt fair Sep 12 and are asking everyone to
participate by submitting a photograph of 1 quilt.
