Primitive Quilts & Projects summer 2020 project

Our social distancing continues....the shop remains closed.....we are still more than happy to meet you at the shop if you need quilting supplies or some human interaction.  We also can be available for quilting drop off or pick up.  Please text or call Darlene at 479-372-7403 to arrange meeting(s).  Hopefully it won't be long until we can erase this opening paragraph and proclaim we are open.

Since face to face interaction is not possible and many quilt shows are cancelled, we thought it would be fun to have a virtual show and share as part of our newsletter each Thursday.  Please e-mail (info@sewgracefulquilting.com) photos of what you're working on and what you've finished (it doesn't have to be something you purchased from us).  Please include your name, the pattern name and designer (if you know that info -- we realize some of you may be working on projects you began years ago).  Also, if you have a quilt or item that was to be in a quilt show we'd love to share a photo.

The spring issue of Primitive Quilts & Projects magazine should be shipping soon.  We are ahead of the game and have kits ready for Kay's project, Granddad's Shirts, which is in the issue.  The quilt finishes 28 1/2" x 35 1/2" and features fabric from Diamond Textiles' NIKKO Geo and NIKKO Earth lines.  Your $48.95 kit includes all fabrics needed to make the top and binding.  The pattern is not included in the kit and can be found in the 2020 summer issue of the magazine.
We expect shipment of the summer issue of Primitive Quilts & Projects magazine around mid-April.  Once we receive our shipment, we will ship your copy.  $9.99
The sentiment on our next project is particularly appropriate in these challenging times:  "Family makes this house a home".  This fun project features easy log cabin blocks with wool applique.  It finishes 26" x 26".  Your $34.95 kit includes the pattern, fabric for the top, wool for applique, buttons and binding.
This is a great time to start preparing for gift giving.  If you're looking for a quick but practical project how about a pincushion?  Your $12.95 kit for Sew Thankful includes the pattern, Sandstone fabric for the background, wool for applique, backing cotton, fabric to make the 4-patch, decorative rick rack, the wooden spool and 2 decorative straight pins.  Please note some wool, 4-patch fabric and pins will vary from what is pictured.
This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section, we have one Blessed are the Quilters kit.  Your kit will include the 9-patch that has been sewn for you (9-patch fabrics in the kit are in dark fabrics).  We framed our finished piece in a 5" x 7" frame.

$9.95 - please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve your kit

We hope you'll take the time to send us photos.  We will continue our virtual show and share until we are able to get out.  So if you don't see your quilt in the newsletter next week, don't worry.....we will share it in a future newsletter.
