New project in Primitive Quilts Winter 2017 issue

Since the winter issue of Primitive Quilts & Projects magazine will arrive shortly we thought we'd share Kay's project that's contained in the magazine.  "Sparkles" is a fun quilt to make with lots of pretty stitching to add interest.  Darlene's beautiful quilting brought it to life.  The quilt finishes 41" x 43".  We have kits available for $36.95.  Please note you will need the winter 2017 issue of the Primitive Quilts & Projects magazine for the pattern.

Kay used Valdani perle cotton size 12 in colors P2 and O775.  We can include a ball of each in your kit for an additional $4.95 per ball.
If you'd like to reserve a copy of the winter issue of Primitive Quilts & Projects, please e-mail (info@sewgracefulquilting.com) or call 479-372-7403.  We'll hold a copy for you.
Speaking of stitching and embellishing.....we have so much fun making Crabapple Hill Designs pieces.  Getting out the box of crayons to color the piece always brings back a flood of childhood memories.  Remember the excitement of getting a new box of crayons?  And how they smelled?  Oh how exciting if the box was the giant one with the built in sharpener!  Such fun and simple times.

Debby did a fabulous job coloring and stitching "When Witches Fly".  Your $22.95 kit includes the pattern, fabric for the top and binding.  It finishes 15" x 16 1/2".  If you'd prefer to use your own supplies, we have the pattern available for $9.95.
Before we close we'd like to share news of two upcoming quilt shows.  The Country Fare Quilters Guild show will be held Oct 20 (9:00-5:00) & 21 (9:00-4:00) at the Claremore Community Center, 2301 N Sioux, Claremore OK.  Admission is $5 and children under 12 are admitted free.  For more info visit http://www.countryfarequiltersguild.org/
