Wooly Row by Row - we are SO excited!

This recently taken photo proves fall is just around the corner even though the calendar says it'll arrive in a couple of weeks......we just know it's not going to be long before the mornings are chilly and leaves turn the beautiful rich primitive colors we love.

We had such a great time meeting everyone who stopped by the show during Row by Row, we decided to participate in the Wooly Row by Row Experience.  With our love of wool it seems fitting that we share that love with everyone. The Wooly program differs from the "regular" Row by Row in that you don't have to visit the shop to participate.  Each participating shop designed an 8" x 8" finished wool block with the theme "Basket of Blossoms".  Our block "Basket of Blossoms" is full of beautiful flowers one might harvest from their flower garden.  The program dates are Oct 16 - Dec 15, 2017.  We'll have more details as time draws closer but wanted to give you a heads up. Several weeks ago we offered Cheri Payne's "Ever Thankful" kit.  At that time, we mentioned Cheri had closed her business because of her battle with cancer.  Before she closed, we were able to buy "Kitty Corn" and now have kits available.  Your $36.95 kit includes the pattern, fabrics for the top, wool for the applique and binding.  This project is paper pieced.  If you're new to paper piecing or haven't used the technique in a while, we recommend making a practice block with scrap fabric before tackling the kit.
