Mrs Hen is back

Although spring officially arrived Tuesday we've felt spring in the air for several weeks.  Daffodils, tulips peeking through the earth, puffy white clouds and our first sighting of a bluebird signals spring to us.  We are hoping this beautiful jacket weather lasts for several weeks.

Several of you were disappointed at the Dallas show when we sold out of  Mrs Hen Needlecase kits.  Good news - they're back in stock.  Your $37.95 kit includes the pattern by Lynette Anderson, fabrics to make the project, wool for applique and hand painted buttons.

The top photo shows Lynette's case inside and out.  The second photo shows our version including the wool for applique.  We are out of the original fabrics so the bottom photo shows the replacement fabrics:  the blue fabric is the outer cover, the linen look cream is the stitchery background, cream with brown is the inside and brown is the pocket.  The new version has brown chickens instead of black.
As many of you know we design patterns for those who want a pretty quilt but don't have a lot of time to invest in making one.  We've created "A Simply Dozen" kits in 2 colorways:  Reflections by Jo Morton & Eggplant Elegance.  Your $52.95 kit includes the pattern, fabrics for the top and binding.  The quilt finishes 50" x 64".  We'll be happy to help you select backing fabric for an additional $9.95 per yard.

The fabric to the left in the detailed photos is the binding fabric.
As we put away things from the Dallas show, we discovered a treasure.  We have sets of Quiltmania magazines containing Yoko Saito's mystery quilt.  The quilt in contained is issues #117, #118 & #119 - we've bundled them and are offering them at a special price of $29.95 (regular price $41.97).

This quilt is show stopping beautiful - Kay saw it in person in Houston.  It finishes 65" x 71".

Don't hesitate in ordering a magazine bundle -- we have only 4 sets available.  Email (info@sewgracefulquilting.com) or call 479-372-7403 and we'll either hold your magazine set for pick up in the store or ship them to you.
The spring issue of Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher is filled with all sorts of spring inspiration.  Cost is $8.99 - 14 projects - yeah.......that's 64 cents per project.
Thanks to those who started following us on Instagram and Facebook.  We try to post a couple times a week.  If you have friends who would prefer to read our newsletter on the web versus receiving each week, please let them know about our blog http://sewgraceful.blogspot.com/.

See you soon!
