French Wrens Kits

What a weather rollercoaster!  One week we are enjoying warm temperatures and the next week we are flipping on the switch for the heater.  This is the kind of weather that causes many jackets to be left on the school bus....we're pretty sure some of you can relate to that issue.

We're starting off this week's newsletter with a quilt made by our dear friend, Jane H.  Jane has made several of our samples and we are always so pleased when she decides to take on a project.  This quilt was made using a Dawn Heese pattern, a Moda layer cake and a couple coordinating fabrics.  Your $64.95 "French Wrens" kit includes the pattern (with our changes), fabrics for the quilt top and binding.  The quilt finishes 44" x 44".

You may place your order by visiting our website https://www.sewgracefulquilting.com/, by e-mailing info@sewgracefulquilting.com or calling 479-372-7403.

Kay's quilt, Cherry Blossoms is included in the summer issue of Primitive Quilts & Projects magazine.  Your $74.95 kit includes Diamond Textile homespun fabrics to make the quilt and binding. Please note some fabrics are no longer available and we have made substitutions; however, the overall look of the quilt will remain the same. Finishes 63 1/2" x 72 1/2".

The pattern is not included in the kit.  It is contained in the Summer 2023 issue of Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine and must be purchased separately.

Last week we featured a couple of summer themed projects.  We neglected to mention Kay's table runner, High on the Hilltop.  Your $37.95 kit includes the pattern, background cotton, cotton for applique and binding.  Finishes 23" x 42".

Be sure to check out the entire series of seasonal table runners.  Spring is Bees in the Meadow, Fall is Harvest Time and Winter is Frosty Morning.  All are in stock.

Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve.
This week for our Sample Sale, we are featuring a darling primitive table runner or wall hanging.  At first glance, you may think this was lovingly hand appliqued.  It actually is a panel.  Darlene quilted it in such a way that it looks hand stitched.  Finishes 22" x 45".  $40 plus shipping.

Our newest quilt make-over

Since Kay taught applique at the guild in Cabot on Wednesday, it's only fitting that we feature an applique quilt she recently finished.  We love how she took a nice pattern and pushed it over the top (the original pattern is pictured below her version).  She chose to use black backgrounds and Diamond Textile homespun fabrics.  She also simplified the pattern by eliminating the piecing between blocks.

Your $58.95 kit for Country Garden includes the fabrics to make the quilt top and the binding.  It finishes 24 1/2" x 24 1/2" (blocks are cut 8 1/2").

You may place your order by visiting our website https://www.sewgracefulquilting.com/, by e-mailing info@sewgracefulquilting.com or calling 479-372-7403.
Kay used the Apliquick method of applique to make her Country Garden quilt.  If you're interested in using this technique, we have an Apliquick starter pack available.  It includes 5 sheets of applique paper, the apliquick rods and a glue pen.  $58.95

You may place your order by visiting our website https://www.sewgracefulquilting.com/, by e-mailing info@sewgracefulquilting.com or calling 479-372-7403.
If you have the apliquick rods but are low on applique paper, we have packs of 20 sheets available.  $25.95
If you need a quick to stitch project for a special someone, Morning Glory may be just what you're looking for.  Your $14.95 kit includes the background fabric, stabilizer for background fabric and wool.  Finishes 7" x 14".  We have ours framed but it would be equally cute finished as a small quilt.  It also would be cute appliqued to a tea towel or an apron.
This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section are featuring two items.  The first a scrap bag of Diamond Textile homespun fabrics.  Most are from the Hickory Ridge collection.  $15 for the bag.

Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve.
The other item is a set of 3 tea towels.  We had hoped to be able to get more of these for Mother's Day but, unfortunately, they are no longer available.  The Songbook set of tea towels is $24.95.  Each towel measures 18" x 27".

Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve.
This week for our Sample Sale, we are featuring a darling quilt that would be perfect for your spring decorating.  "Bunnies in the Garden" finishes 58" x 58".  It features fabrics from a now out of print Blackbird Designs fabric line by Moda.  Applique on each corner adds interest to this sweet quilt.  $200 plus shipping

Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com to reserve.
We still have the darling Lynette Anderson slippers available.   $45 plus shipping To reserve them, please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com.
Hope to see you soon.
