New kits from our open house

Last Saturday was the perfect day for our holiday open house.  We had a great turnout and enjoyed visiting with everyone who stopped by.

The recent winter weather reminded us to remind you of our inclement weather policy.  If the Rogers schools are closed, the shop is closed.  Of course, you're always welcome to call before you come if there is a doubt as to whether we are open.
"Let it Snow" was a big hit at our open house event.  As promised, we saved some kits to share with you.  Your $24.95 kit includes the pattern, fabrics for the mini quilt and the ornament, wool for applique and the darling snowman buttons.  The quilt finishes 9 1/2" x 11 1/2".
Kay's newest design "In the Meadow" is designed to fit in the large metal trays we've had in the past.  Your $39.95 kit includes the background flannel, wool for applique, buttons, backing fabric and wool binding.  It finishes 12" x 21 1/2".

The metal tray is not included with the kit.  Please call 479-372-7403 or e-mail (info@sewgracefulquilting.com) to order the tray.  $48.95
If you're looking for a project that is all cotton, Merry and Bright would be a fun project.  It features simple applique, easy piecing and a little embroidery.  Your $19.95 kit includes the pattern and all fabrics to make the quilt top (binding is included).  It finishes 19" x 25".
This week for our "when it's gone, it's gone" section, we are featuring "Cozy Wool Applique" by Elizabeth Angus.  We recently learned that Elizabeth passed away following a diagnosis of liver cancer earlier this year.  We have a few copies of the book available and notice our distributor has a few copies left but once those are gone, the book will be out of print.  $17.95

We also noticed our distributor has a few copies of her first book, Cozy Wool Applique Pillows.  We will be happy to order a copy for you.  Please e-mail info@sewgracefulquilting.com or call 479-372-7403 and we will get an order placed.  $14.95
The next time it's too chilly to venture out, we invite you to click on http://suegarman.blogspot.com/ and enjoy photos from the Sisters Outdoor Quilt show in July.  Wouldn't an outdoor quilt show in NW Arkansas be a super fun event?!!

We'll be back next week with a couple more new projects.  Meanwhile, we hope you are staying warm during this unseasonably cold weather.  See you soon!
