Fun gifts - large and small

Is it just us or does it seem to be hard to believe we are well into the second month of 2018?  Time seems to fly faster than ever.

Next week is Valentine's Day and we have a fun little gift for your favorite stitching buddy.  The Sew Chic Needle & Pin Case is the perfect way to say "I'm thinking of you and I wanted to give you something that's not only cute but practical."  The case is roughly the size of a tube of lipstick, comes with 5 needles and a tiny pincushion.  Let us know if you'd prefer black, eggplant or pink.  $4.95 each
We love the versatility and timeless feel of a red and cream quilt.  Jane H recently finished making a sample of "Churning Fourteen" using a beautiful assortment of fabrics.  The pattern uses basic shapes:  squares, rectangles and triangles.  It finishes 54" x 68".  Your $74.95 kit includes the pattern, fabrics for the top and binding.  We will be happy to help you choose backing fabric for an additional $9.95 per yard.

If you'd prefer to make a larger bed size quilt we suggest you buy two kits.

If you'd prefer the quilt in another color way, the pattern is available for $12.
You'll be able to keep a record of your quilting life with this beautifully photographed journal created by Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gathering.  The journal is packed with hundreds of photos of quilts to enjoy year-round (no patterns are included).  It's small enough to carry along in your bag on the go.  $14.99
Last but not least we'd like to share another fun, but practical, item.  Our new sheep tape measure is crocheted and includes a 60" tape measure.  It is 2 1/2" so is the perfect size to tuck in your stitching bag.  Hint......it would make a great Valentine's Day or Easter gift.  $10.50
We've noticed several trees loaded with buds so know spring is just around the corner.  We'll be back next week with more to inspire you.  See you soon!
