2018 if off to a great start

We hope your 2018 is off to a great start.  We have lots of things planned for the year and can't wait to share them with you as the year progresses.  We enjoyed our break but missed visiting with everyone.  During our break, we spent one day putting away Christmas and resetting the front area with snowmen projects.
Even though the weather is freezing, the spring issue of Primitive Quilts & Projects magazine will be here soon.  Kay's project, Bees in the Meadow, is the first in a series of 4 seasonal table runners.  Each runner will finish 23"x 42".  It would also make a cute wall hanging or a nice cover for the foot of your bed.

Kay used fabric from Diamond Textiles' Nikko fabric line for all the flowers.  Your kit will include an assortment of every fabric in the line.

The kit includes fabric to make the top and binding ($38.95); the pattern is available in the spring 2018 issue of Primitive Quilts & Projects ($9.99); an optional Valdani perle cotton #12 thread kit is available for $29.70.
From the sneak peeks we've received, it looks like 2018 will be the year for great books.  Kathy Cardiff's book "A Cottage Garden" will be available in Feb.  It contains a variety of projects including pillows, sewing notions, table toppers and a wall quilt.  The info we received says it for wool lovers -- so we know it's going to be great!  96 pages, $28.99

Let us know if we can reserve a copy for you.
Jo Morton's new book "Jo's Little Favorites III" is scheduled for release in March.  It contains 16 projects previously available to Jo's Little Women Club members.  It also includes photos of Jo's 1920's era bungalow showing how she displays her quilts in her home.  96 pages, $27.99
We'll be back next week with close up photos of one of the sweetest snowman quilts we've ever seen.  See you soon!
